Hi Ben, Thank you for your kind, courteous and prompt reply. Initially, I was getting messages such as, 'Cannot install the WindowsInstaller,' and simply, 'stopped installation.' Naturally, I had already installed language packs for Korean and Russian.
Here is the solution that ultimately worked and solved some other hangul (native Korean script) recognition issues. 1) Go to Clock, Language, Region 2) Select Region 3) Click on the Administrative tab 4) Select Language for non-Unicode programs 5) Change system locale to Korean After which, the Haansoft application installation proceeded very smoothly and satisfactorily. Again, thank you for your assistance and thoughtful research. Warmest regards, Chris.
Haansoft Hangul 2007 for Windows 8 I recently purchased a new computer, Samsung DM301, and have been unable to install Haansoft Hangul 2007 with the cd that the vendor sent to me. It's possible that the application will not run under an English language O/S.
